Watercolor and Pastel, 8.5"x9.5"
These lilacs have a story. Growing up my Mom would send me off to school every year with a huge bouquet of white and purple lilacs for my teacher. Freshly cut of course. She would wrap the bottom of the stems in a wet paper towel, shielded in aluminum. Not exactly high end presentation. But I have to tell you -- as I sat there on the school bus I was overcome with their amazing power to make friends fast. I'll always remember their power to attract. Smile if you do too.
